Another week of cold and another few inches of snow. I’m really trying to re-excite myself for winter dressing because there’s at least going to be a few more weeks of cold (according to that groundhog…), so I am styling pieces a bit differently than my usual in order to do so.
Let’s get into it!

Outfit 1: Coat is thrifted; shirt from Brandy Melville; bag from Paloma wool; i made the pants!; belt is vintage
Starting off strong with what I am currently wearing- especially these baggy parachute pants I designed for my senior year collection in college at Pratt! I made them from a vintage army tent I found at a flea market and loved the small details they already had. I found these over the weekend while home in Connecticut and was like “why do I not wear the pieces I made???” These will be a new staple in my rotation. Also, really excited about this light sage colored trench coat I found at the thrift store- feels like a great transition piece for winter into spring.
Outfit 2: Coat is vintage; top is Apres Studio; jeans are Free People; bag is thrifted Valentino; jewelry is vintage; shoes are Steve Madden
This outfit is such an easy go to combination- pop color/printed top with washed jeans, wool coat and pop color shoes or bag. This day I decided to match my shoes and bag with the red, but think it works well since the purse is a bit more of a faded red. I’ve mentioned it a few times, but I am obsessed with this top from Après Studio- it’s a little on the pricier side but it’s from a small Australian brand and the quality is great, and I’ve already gotten a ton of use out of it in just a few weeks.
Also- calling it now, but it’s the year of amber jewelry for me. It’s always near and dear to my heart because all my amber jewelry is my mom’s from Poland, but it’s also just such a gorgeous organic gemstone. The one I’m wearing was handmade and I love the large pendant- it makes such a statement!
Outfit 3: Coat is vintage; purse is my moms; fur scarf is vintage; shoes are Steve Madden
I found this coat in my grandma’s closet and couldn’t believe it… the large brown buttons? The perfect belt? The shoulder pads? The length? It’s all perfect… you all know I love when the coat is the whole outfit so here’s my favorite version I’ve done so far. It was so cold so I did a cardigan and leggings underneath with some white socks layered on. This felt like the perfect outfit for running errands around Connecticut on a snowy Saturday. I am all for the shoulder pads right now!
Outfit 4: Coat is vintage; dress is 1930’s antique; scarf is my moms; shoes are my moms; purse is my moms (lol sorry)
We always love a fully vintage outfit! I feel this one is so easy to recreate from your own closet though. Heavily inspired by how my mom dressed in the 90’s (featuring her coat, scarf, shoes, and bag), I love pairing this silky yellow antique slip dress back to my wool winter coat. I have so many incredible dresses in my closet that I don’t reach for in the winter so I love finding ways to get them in my rotation even when it’s freezing cold outside.
Outfit 5: Cardigan is vintage handmade from the 70’s; top is Brandy Melville; jeans are Agolde; shoes are Wallabees from Free People; bag is thrifted Valentino
This outfit was by far a favorite from everyone on my instagram/substack/tiktok- mainly because of this incredible cardigan I found at an estate sale years ago. It was handmade in the 70s!!! It’s seriously such an incredible stand out piece that the rest of the outfit needs almost no help- and I love an all white look in the winter time. Especially mixing the different shades of white within a look gives it a bit more depth.

Outfit 6: Coat is vintage Gap from eBay; scarf is my moms; jeans are Free People; shoes are Free People; bag is LL Bean
Outfit 7: Coat is vintage Gap from eBay; scarf is my moms; pants are Citizens of Humanity; bag is Free People; shoes are G.H Bass loafers
Paired these two together because they’re essentially the same outfit. I am forever in love with this reversible vintage Gap coat my coworker found on eBay last year and sent to me- it has become such a staple in my closet and honestly works in every season. Special shoutout to the Citizens of Humanity sweatpants I found on Free People- I wanted an elevated pair of sweatpants (sounds dumb I know) but these are perfect and almost read as a pair of trousers if you’re not looking too closely. I will wear these from pilates in the morning to the office- they’re perfect!
Outfit 8: Sweater is vintage; shawl/skirt is vintage from depop; trousers are Levi’s I thrifted; bag is vintage Valentino; shoes are my moms
Another fully vintage outfit but had to share this one because of the layering! I feel like this has really been the key to a lot of my favorite looks lately. I took this crochet shawl/skirt I got off Depop that was for my vacation to Mexico and thought it would work well over my trousers to add in some texture. Otherwise- this outfit would have been pretty boring without it. Highly recommend taking a look at some of your spring/summer pieces and seeing what you could use to style for the winter.
Outfit 9: Long sleeve is Intimissimi; top is Brandy Melville; jeans are Agolde; shoes are Converse; bag is LL Bean; belt is a rope belt from Etsy
Another easy layering outfit that leans more casual- I love my cashmere boat neck Intimissimi top as a first layer any day but felt it worked so well with my graphic Philly tee! The blues in this outfit felt bright and playful but still work well for the winter months.
Outfit 10: Coat is vintage; sweater is vintage J.Crew; pants are Citizens of Humanity; shoes are Steve Madden; bag is my moms
Whenever I put an outfit like this together. I just feel like I am encompassing my mom’s look in the 90’s (which I love, obviously). I’ve really just been loving these oversized comfortable pieces that look nice and put together for a day of work or errands. Accessorizing this look with a pair of nicer shoes or bag or pair of sunglasses just brings it to the next level so the look doesn’t look too drab. Such a staple look in my rotation at the moment!

Outfit 11: Long sleeve is Intimissimi; skirt is Apres Studio; shoes are thrifted; silver cuffs are thrifted
Outfit 12: Top + skirt are Apres Studio; trench coat is thrifted; shoes are Free People
For my final two looks, I had to end strong featuring (again) my favorite looks with this Après Studio set. This sounds sponsored but I swear it’s not, I just love these pieces so much. The first look was my going out for dinner look- I loved pairing the plaid skirt back to these gingham printed kitten heels. We love print mixing in this household!
The second look was to the office (where I got many compliments on this set)- it’s comfortable and makes getting dressed so easy in the morning. I’m excited to be able to style this set for the spring/summer months as well.
That’s all I have for this week- thank you so much for being here and for reading. I love being able to see what others are wearing, even on work from home days or to run errands- it’s a good reminder to get dressed everyday even if the day ahead is mundane. Getting dressed is almost always my favorite part of the day!
I hope this post could help rejuvenate the rest of your winter dressing (if you live somewhere cold)- as always, leave a comment if there’s an outfit you’ve been wearing and loving or send me a dm on instagram! I love chatting!
